William John Smith's grave in the Daylesford Cemetery

William was the eldest son of William and Anne Smith.  He was born in 1863, married neighbouring milliner Jane Tresise in 1890 and died on 17th June, 1940 at the District Hospital, Daylesford.

William, a retired farmer, was buried in this grave on 19th June.  Methodist Minister Rev A. R. Wilson presided.

William's wife Jane, who died in 1918, is buried here also.
